Supermarket products are being recalled from UK shelves as they may contain pieces of metal or listeria.
Alerts have been issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) this week relating to items sold by Waitrose, Lidl, SPAR, Co-op and other retailers. Consumers have been urged to check their fridges, freezers and cupboards and follow advice on what to do.
Retailers who stock the affected products will see point-of-sale notices posted in their stores and provide buyers with refunds for the return of the affected lots. No receipt will be required due to the nature of reminders.
