Six ships with frozen fish, LPG, more arrive at Port of Rivers, today

The management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says about seven ships loaded with different cargoes will arrive at two ports in the east.
The two eastern ports are Rivers Ports Complex and Onne Port cited and operating in Rivers State, Southern Nigeria.
This was in its weekly position on shipments published by the Authority and a copy made available to journalists.
According to the publication, the ships will arrive at different quays and terminals to unload their cargoes.
He gave the names of the ships as Trans-Europe, Sozon, Ocean ii, Halima, Genco Weatherly, MSC and Laperouse respectively.
The Authority also gave the names of shipping agents as JFDOR, Peejay, Blueseas, Samcham, Mediterranean Shipping and Delimfz maritime.
He added that the seven vessels were loaded with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bulk wheat, bulk fertilizer, containers, butane and gypsum.
The statement further noted that with the arrival of the ships, it will boost and stimulate socio-economic activities in the state and its environs, increase trade and commerce in the South-South region.
The shipping position urged traders, importers, business people and those working in the maritime sectors to expect an increase in trade activities
