2022 Seasonal Specials: St. Patrick’s Day and Fish Fry

When it comes to celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, everyone can be a little Irish. And whether you enjoy a juicy Reuben sandwich, a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, or other local dishes or a classic non-Irish burger or jerk chicken, you’ll find it paired with a side of Irish dancers or the strains singsongs of the Irish. music at many establishments in the city in honor of the occasion. As St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17, which is a Thursday this year, some promotions will be running starting the weekend before or extending through the weekend after the holidays, so check ahead. if you want to go out.

Until April 15, 2022, fish fry lovers will be able to enjoy a number of delicacies across the city in honor of the Lenten tradition of not eating meat on Fridays. But just like you don’t have to be Irish to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, you don’t have to follow these religious beliefs to enjoy great fish fry.

A variety of food trucks – Northbound Smokehouse, Big Red Wagon and Tavola – throughout the day on March 17, at different times from noon, will offer classic Irish dishes such as corned beef and cabbage as well as Wild Rice Burgers, Smoked Wings, Jamaican Jerk or BBQ Turkey, Burgers, Reuben Pizza and more. From March 11-17, the Mason Jar Kitchen & Bar offers St. Patrick’s Day favorites, plus specialty desserts, drinks and alcoholic shakes. Appetizers are available to eat in or take out from 3 p.m. until closing, and include corned beef and cabbage with baby roasted red potatoes ($20), shepherd’s pie ($16), and Reuben and Rachel sandwiches served with parmesan and parsley fries or a salad ($16).
