This is pretty legit. I can’t quite tell if it would be insanely difficult or trivially easy to replicate.

I think the way to do this is: 1. Take a picture of scene with computer. 2. Remove computer, take picture again. 3. Pull images, find region of second picture which is covered by the desktop in the first image; crop to that region. Set this image to your desktop. 4. Replace computer in scene, looking through viewfinder to line up desktop image with scene; take a picture.
